1770- 1774 Richard Jones Rent £26 per year - spent £43 on improvements - Known as Green Dragon Inn.
1774 - 1790 Thomas Clout Rent £32 per year - Known as Green Dragon Inn.
1819 - 1850 Edmund Read Dragon Inn & posting house. 1822 tenancy included farms and fields around Montgomery. Maes y Brennin, Maes y Kerry, Pant y Maen and others.
1865 - 1874 Martha Wood Green Dragon & posting house.
1878 - 1894 Edward Watkin & Mrs Watkin (after his death in 1893) Green Dragon, posting house & Inland Revenue office.
1895 - 1901 George James Clipston & Nesta Belbin Known as Green Dragon.
1912 - 1941 Charles Pryce Davies Known as Dragon Hotel.

1975 Allan Baker 1st owners, bought from Powis Estates - many improvements.
1975/6 - 1987 Roland & Jennifer Burgan Closed in patio area - turned ball room into bedrooms - put in pool.
1987 - 1990 Cliff & Ann Evans  
1990 - to date Mark & Sue Michaels 1999 - changed Grill room to Function room, 2000 put on sauna to pool area, created function room and extended internally to form a total of 20 en-suite bedrooms.
