The Dragon Hotel has its own wedding licence and can hold small ceremonies, including weddings, civil ceremonies or renewal of vows.

Our weddings are co-ordinated in collaboration with Montgomery Weddings, which is a network of local, trusted partners who can provide everything you need for your big day. The Dragon Hotel is a major partner and can help you to make your day a very special one. Whether you are having extravagant affair or a more intimate one, we can help.
Most weddings are held in our Den, which, is ideal for intimate weddings for up to 40 people. We can also accommodate more people in our bar conservatory area (from Mondays to Thursdays).
For larger wedding functions, you can choose the splendour of Montgomery’s Georgian Town Hall.
Wedding suite
Our best room can be specifically set up for the bride and attendants during the day and for the happy couple on their wedding night.
Catering
Our team can provide a wide range of choices. We can cater for up to 50 guests in our restaurant, or up to 100 guests in the adjacent Town Hall.
Come and talk to us and we will help devise the perfect, bespoke menu to suit your day. These have included: afternoon tea; ‘Street Fare’ – stalls with different street food options and many other choices.

In addition to weddings, we can host and cater for any event from 2 to 100 people.
